The job involves ensuring smooth operation and quality control of log flows from the forest, through transport and then delivery to the buyer/agent. - regular communication with harvesting managers and contractors
- analysis of daily, weekly and monthly log flows

- liaison with different buyers
- good decision making, problem solving and judgement.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
No specific qualifications are required, but this role requires a great deal of project management, sound decision making, and a good working relationship with contractors. Good spreadsheet and data management skills will also be needed. This can be a high-pressure role, requiring adaptability and good problem-solving skills.
A good knowledge of harvesting operations and the whole forestry supply chain is essential for this role.
