Consultants in the forest industry are often people with forest management experience who have developed specialist expertise in a particular area. Examples include:

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Most consultants will be qualified to at least degree level and will also have had significant work experience in their specialist area. Consultants need to be analytical and decisive, and also be confident in their own judgments. Good communication, report writing and presentation skills are also valuable in this role.
