Forestry in the south celebrated at Southern Wood Council Awards evening

We came, we celebrated and feedback from all those attending the 2019 SWC Forestry Awards evening on Friday evening tells us that it was another great evening.  We estimate that between 300-325 attended on the night.  Thanks to all of you who have supported the awards evening through your sponsorship, your attendance on the night, judging and in working with forestry companies and contractors in pulling together nominations for the nine major awards. 

A large number of professional photos were taken on the night.  These have just been uploaded to Southern Wood Council Awards webpage.   If you’d like any particular photos for your own use – personally of for company websites, newsletters …. let me know and I’ll send through the originals for you. 

We’ll have a debrief shortly to plan for the awards for 2020.  We’ll also be producing a four-page brochure with images of each of the award winners, a montage of photos taken during the night and sponsors and supporters logos – which will be printed and handed out to forestry companies and crews by Phil Williams from Competenz over the next few weeks.
