2019 Forestry Labour Requirements Survey released

The 2019 Forestry Labour Requirements Survey has been released by Te Uru Rakau, Forest Owners Association, Forest Industry Contractors Association and Competenz.

The silviculture and harvesting sectors' labour requirements were surveyed for 2019 to improve understanding of expected labour requirements (both seasonal and permanent), roles and regions where contractors are experiencing challenges, recruitment strategies for 2019, and the industry's view of the key reasons for the labour shortages.
